http://www.looptv.net/ bring you this introduction to Drum racks and how to organise your drum samples into a master Drum Rack for easy tweaking and loading in your writing sessions.

Sometimes it might seem like you have too many drum samples - you want to hear which ones fit together, but sifting through them in the browser isn't the ideal way.

In this tutorial, Ableton Certified Trainer and Live-Courses.com instructor Rob Jones shows you an easy way to organize all of your samples together using nested Instrument Racks within a Drum Rack. Use macros to audition different drum sounds and find the kicks, claps, hi-hats and other sounds that best fit together for the pattern you're working on.

This video is part one in a three-part series on using Racks in Live. Check back for parts two and three!
