So I've been busy working lately to expand my N scale Tehachapi Pass layout. I wasn't happy with a few things on the original plan, and those are addressed with this expansion, which also extends the mainline by about 5.5 scale miles, or 38%, to a total of 19 scale miles! In this video we'll follow an eastbound SP manifest from Marcel to Summit Switch via the upper level of the new expansion, which allows for more prototypical-length runs between control points, a much more true-to-life representation of tunnels 14-17, the inclusion of Summit Switch, and a much larger, deeper area in which to model the town of Tehachapi and its iconic cantilever signal bridge, depot, water tower, and Main Street. The lower level of the expansion will cover from the Bena helper pocket to just shy of Caliente and will also allow for the inclusion of the crossovers at Sandcut, which weren't present before due to space constraints, in the main layout room. I'll post a video of that at a later date (once it's back "in service"). Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy the video!

Awesome! You must have a very understanding "significant half" (or none at all) :-)) I like the weathering on the cars! From what I saw, you use Atlas code 55?
