On April 15, 2013, the 1st Innovation Network Workshop in Brussels, organised by the CRM_InnoNet project, brought together European innovators and policy makers in order to discuss the development of substitutes of scarce materials, critical for the EU industrial and economic competitiveness.
During the Workshop a panel discussion and breakout sessions in the areas of ICT, Energy, Transport and Cross-cutting initiatives were organized, where participants expressed their opinions and views on the mission of the Innovation Network as well as discussed aspects of substitution of critical raw materials.
At the event, we interviewed Claire Claessen from Chemistry Innovation, CRM_InnoNet project co-ordinator, and Pablo Tello from PNO Consultants, drivers of the Innovation Network.
