DON'T FORGET TO SUBSCRIBE TO MY CHANNEL: 4 down 1 to bowl. That was the mantra all week long for the University of Hawaii Warriors as they welcomed the 8 and 3 Wisconsin Badgers to town. Hawaii needed 1 one win and they would be in the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl facing former Hawaii head coach June Jones and the SMU Mustangs.
Hawaii came out with high hopes moving the ball down the field on the opening drive, but failed to convert and that would be script for the entire evening. The Warriors offense had a hard time finding their rhythm and putting together successful drives. On the other hand Wisconsin imposed their ground and pound all night long on Hawaii. RB John Clay had a huge game running for 172 and 3 touchdowns on the night. In total Wisconsin scored 7 rushing TD's on the night. .
A tough way to end the season as the Warriors were defeated by the Badgers, the final score Wisconsin 51, Hawaii 10.
To end the season on a bright note it was Senior night for 22 Hawaii Warriors. Family and friends celebrated the players in both pregame and post game ceremonies.
