Kentucky Basketball Recruit - Scout.com #1 prospect in America class of 2011 - King of the Chi www.Twitter.com/SwagAir www.Twitter.com/AntDavis23

(August 2010)-Anthony Davis (6'9" F 2011 - Chicago Perspectives / Meanstreets AAU) will soon announce his college choice- it is between DePaul, Kentucky, Ohio State, and Syracuse. He is widely considered the #1 basketball prospect in the US...

Anthony Davis was just hoping to get a scholarship offer to play division one basketball when he joined the Meanstreets AAU program for his senior summer ... what he got instead is something that most people couldn't imagine in their wildest dreams. Anthony, who grew 6 inches during his junior year, had no scholarship offers and was not ranked nationally in March 2010; by June he had moved in to the top 15 nationally on Rivals, Scout, and ESPN, and now- in July (I updated the description a few months after I posted the video)- he is widely considered to be the #1 player in the nation.

Many around Chicago have been saying that he is in the ranks of Derrick Rose, Quentin Richardson, and Kevin Garnett as one of the best basketball prospects ever to come out of the city of Chicago. An incredibly versatile and athletic player, Anthony's game has no flaw, and once he builds strength and polishes his skills the sky is truly the limit..... DanielPoneman@gmail.com
