In part 1 of this series (https://youtu.be/nR33FIFU3zY) I summarized the design and construction of my revamped compost-based heating system for my greenhouse.

In part 2 (https://youtu.be/pZGDIBeBLNs), I described the "recipe" used to construct my compost pile (LEAVES AND COFFEE ONLY! HOT!)

In this video, I show how the compost pile performed over a full heat-up/cool-down cycle (2 weeks). I tracked temperature at four locations inside and around the greenhouse for two hours on a cold morning. The hot exhaust from the compost pile was a full 30 degrees F (20 degrees C) warmer than the air inside the greenhouse, and the system was able to heat the greenhouse by 3 deg F in an hour, before the sun came up.

Kudos to Keith's Coffee Bar (http://www.keithscoffeebar.com) in Denver, Colorado for generously providing me with spent coffee grounds!
