This is just a little video of how I prepare some of the vegetables I feed to my fish. I know there are different styles out there and really its whatever works for you.
Anyways keys to remember: hard boil the water, put zucchini or cucumber in for 3 minutes or slightly more depending upon how much you cook, be gentle with the vege's at all times, use a top on the pot, drain water from the container, and put in the coldest freezer as fast as you can after time is up. You really dont need an exceptional freezer its just better to freeze it as fast as possible.
*TIP: Before I forget, remember when you freeze and thaw things they usually compact and get a little smaller and also they will be really easy to break if its too thin and frozen. So cut your pieces a little bigger than you actually want them to be.
This these can be used for a wide variety of fish but mainly, Otocinclus catfishes', any plecostomus, loaches, corydoras, and many other bottom feeders and herbivores/omnivores.
If you have any questions send a message of a comment my way. Thanks for tuning in!
