Embroidery is a wonderful way to fun pops of color to everything from sweaters to hats and mitts. In this video, Kerin shows you how to do the crochet chain stitch. This embroidery technique allows you to create outlines for shapes and motifs with a stitch that resembles the shape of a knit stitch. Crochet chain stitching is a very versatile technique that allows you to create free form shapes on top of your knitted or crocheted fabric. This method is also very handy if you need to create vertical lines of duplicate stitch, as it will match the right side of sockinette stitch fabric for knitting.
