Sumasta's Do-It-Yourself mobile phone designed for maker/hacker/ developer/hobbyist who love AVR, Arduino and motion sensing. Wait, a DIY mobile phone? Yes! It is portable mobile phone where you can bring it in your pocket wherever you want, whenever you need to do whatever you want! It uses AVR atmega2560 and implanted by Arduino MEGA boot loader, where the entire phone is program in sketch through Arduino IDE. What does that means? Well, it means you have FULL direct access to all the peripherals (Sensors, LCD, GSM, SD Card, MP3, Bluetooth, etc.) in the phone itself and you can use it for many purpose depending on your program. You can make your own style in how you want to pick-up a call, send SMS, navigate through the menus, and MUCH MORE. Just like programming an Arduino in a shape of Mobile-phone. Moreover, this phone is very extendable, using Apple dock connector to breakout GPIO, means you can add additional hardware like touch-pads and breadboard on-the-go to quickly prototype anything directly from this phone. Don't forget the Bluetooth, it allows you to communicate wirelessly to many things around you ;)
