"Thirty seven years back, at the age of 27, when, Parkinson's afflicted me, I had a choice to make. I could lead my life secluded from society and overtaken completely by the disorder PD brought or I could choose to come to terms with reality and make the most of what life had to offer and add meaning to it. I choose the later. Today, I can say with great satisfaction that I am proud to have lived my life the way I did. With the support of my family members as well as my indomitable spirit, to never give up, I have been able to lead a life where I have been actively involved in the family business as well as play a role towards creating social awareness on Parkinson's Disease." - Divakar Deo
