If you are shopping for a new grill between now and Father’s Day, you have the best selection and often, the best incentives. While you can possibly snag a great price on a grill at the end of season, there’s no guarantee the grill you need will be there when you want to buy it. “In prep for Father’s Day and summer, you are going to see the best prices on grills and incentives too,” says Karen Bachman Thull, marketing and communications director for Bachman’s. The garden-to-grill store offers free delivery and set up when you purchase a grill. “We have four different types of grills: gas, charcoal, ceramic and electric,” Thull said. Questions to ask when purchasing a grill What do you want to do? Choose the grill that functions best for that purpose. For example, gas grills with stainless steel or cast iron grates or brass burners offer the highest quality and durability too. How many people do you need to feed most often? “Think about size because size matters,” says Thull. “Depending on the number of people, think about having ten inches of grilling space per person you serve regularly.” What about space at home? Consider where you can use the grill and where you can store the grill. There are more electric grills on the market because they save space and can be used in condos or apartments.
