Nevada Senator Harry Reid met with Nevada exhibitors showcasing education technology at the Capitol. The Nevadans presented an earthquake simulation shake table that demonstrated how different magnitudes of earthquakes and various building materials are impacted by tremors. And as a result of that I became interested in what the University of NV-Reno was doing regarding research on earthquakes. Weve done some tremendously important and valuable work there.
