Eight months after breaking his back, now paralysed blind adventurer, Mark Pollock uses rowing to remind his body of how it used to move. The coordination required to row has been imprinted in Mark's brain, has carved tracks in his nervous system since he was a school rower through to the Commonwealth Games in 2002. The hope is that repeating these movements will stimulate his paralysed limbs. Either way it made him out of breath and sweat for the first time since the accident.
