On the first day of summer, public spaces in more than 300 cities around the world become informal musical stages for amateurs and professionals to perform for friends, neighbors, and passers-by, turning the city into a festival of live music. On June 21st of 2007, New York City joined the ranks of this global phenomenon and for two hours, a street in Tribeca was shut down as Mark Denardo, Bitshifter, and Nullsleep rocked the corner of Church and White courtesy of The Tank. http://thetanknyc.org/ .. http://8bitpeoples.com .. http://www.makemusicny.org
