If you are looking for a fun way to study Japanese, I recommend the Japanese version of Ni No Kuni(PS3). I am playing through it now, and the graphics(done by Studio Ghibli) look great. The story is a bit childish, but interesting. The benefit of it being a game targeted towards younger kids is that all of the Kanji have furigana above them, which will really help improve your reading, and ability to look up words. Most of the scenes are voiced by Japanese celebrities, and you can hear a few different Japanese dialects consistently throughout. You can get it at PlayAsia via the link below, and it will play on American PS3s as well because it is region free. It's guaranteed to entertain you while building up your Japanese, so if you have a PS3, it's a good buy.
