Every hero on Azeroth liked the feast of Winter Veil a lot
But the Warlords who lived through the portal on Draenor did not!
The Warlords hated Winter Veil! The whole Winter Veil creation!
So many heroes would get new gear from the expansion.
It could be, perhaps, that their XP was too low
It could be then that their Talents specs blow
But I think that the most likely reason of all
May have been that their DPS was two sizes too small.
For whatever the reason, their XP or their talents,
They watched through the dark portal waiting for patch balance
Staring down at the town with no obvious compassion
They hated the heroes who were completing their garrisons
For they knew every hero wanted their heads on a post,
There was no time to think, they knew they were toast.
“We must hurry before these noobs raid and kill us”
“This is really an urgent Iron Horde matter fellas”
Then they growled with epic Orc drumming,
"We must find a way to stop this Winter Veil from coming!”
“For, tomorrow, all the heroes would have so much new gear
Then we’ll be killed and looted, we can't let them near.”
And then! Oh no, chatter came from on through
All of the heroes were asking general chat Looking for Group
The heroes were playing Warcraft, no need to explain,
they'll raid! And they'll raid! And they'll raid! Raid! Raid!
And the more the Warlords thought, as the heroes raided Molten Core
The more the Warlords thought, how the devs would debuff them even more,
Why for 10 years of WoW we've put up with this crap!
We must stop Winter Veil from coming before we ultimately snap.
But how?"
"I know what we'll do!" Grom said at his worst
"We'll dress like Father Winter and kill them first"
And then they all laughed because they were already red,
Except for Gul'dan as he was misled
So they gathered their weapons and went through the portal,
“This winter veil is over mere mortals!”
But when they came on through, all the chatter was gone,
The heroes were missing and so was their brawn
Everything was silent, not a pin drop could be heard
It was right then suddenly all the heroes returned
For they finished their raid and hearthed right back,
The warlords were outnumbered, it was pretty wack.
Uh oh. Without any hesitation, the players began to raid,
The sweet sounds of Warlord life began to fade.
The Warlords learned nothing, they were conquered and killed,
The hero yelled "come friends, more blood to be spilled."
For This was the first and last time the Warlords tried to end Winter Veil,
The end of a sad and stupid legendary tale...lol
