Roger Hodgson, formerly of Supertramp and co-founder of the band, wrote and composed this song while he was still in his teens and before he co-founded the band. Not only was this song a hugely successful hit, it was also the title track of one of Supertramp's albums that went on to sell over 20 million copies. This song is awesome whether Roger performs it solo, with band, or with orchestra. Roger is the composer and signature voice of many of the hits such as Give a Little Bit, The Logical Song, Dreamer, Take the Long Way Home, and more. Although Roger and Supertramp's other co-founder shared writing credit, they actually wrote & composed separately with each singing their own respective songs: http://bit.ly/1Kfgu0W

Roger comments on his evergreen classic, Breakfast in America: "It's consistently one of the most popular songs in the set and it just seems to ignite a wave of joy in the audience when they hear the first chords. Never could I have imagined when I wrote this song at age 19 that it would be gaining in popularity, if that is even possible, over 40 years later. It's the playful, fun, jubilant quality that people love to hear and sing along to." ~Roger Hodgson

See what fans are saying about Roger's tour -
"It may have been the BEST concert I have ever seen. Roger's voice is even better than it was when he was with Supertramp. My friends and I were blown away by your sheer talent. I would highly recommend anyone to go see Roger live if they can."

"Music is what feelings sound like..and Roger you have shared your feelings so completely in your "music" when an orchestra is added, the emotional whirlwind carries you away. Tear fell often while feeling those familiar songs with strings and horns building more depth, if that is even possible. Fans excitedly jumped to their feet song after song, shouting their love toward the stage. Roger's reaction the most touching, often responding immediately, with sincere words. Thank you all for sharing so much with all of us!! So much love to you.."
