The REAL Maddy Coleman, Alex Chando, will return to the show Wed. Sept 23. Just for the fun of it, to celebrate Maddy's return, go back to Jake Silbermann's first day on the set, with Alex Chando, and Van Hansis, and a pubescent Mick Hazen (Parker).

Rumor is that Maddy, Alex Chando, hooks up with Hunter, Evan Alex Cole.

Billy Magnussens gig on The Beautiful Life has been extended. The actor will commute to film both his day and nighttime jobs. The Suds Report - Sept18/09

The loud buzz of Guiding Light star, Tom Pelphrey (Jonathan) joining it's sister soap As The World Turns has been confirmed by a ATWT representative. According to Soap Opera Digest, Tom will be joining the CBS soap as a new character named Mick.

Sara Bibel has revealed in an interview with Terri Colombino at Fancast.com that Paul Leyden will be reprising his role as Simon Frasier on AS THE WORLD TURNS.

Soap opera and Broadway fans alike are in for a real treat with the latest casting for the hit production of "Mamma Mia!" As The World Turns Eric William Morris (ex- Matt O'Connor) and Guiding Lights David Andrew Macdonald (Edmund Winslow) will be joining the new cast. The production will premiere, to include the new actors, on September 22 at the Winter Garden Theatre at 1634 Broadway in New York City. From Soaps.com

Lesli Kay returns to Oakdale as Molly Conlan. Lesli is currently on The Bold and the Beautiful as Felicia Forrester and will appear on both soaps simultaneously.
Tamara Tunie returns as Jessica Griffin. Tamara last appeared on ATWT in 2007. She makes her return to Oakdale in October.
Maura West returns to the show after being on maternity leave. She returns as Carly Tenney in September.
