A short video to show the rotation of the Earth. A Panasonic HDC SD-60 camcorder was pointed at a blank portion of sky just ahead of the Moon. The Earth's rotation then brought the Moon into and then out of the field of view. The time taken for the moon to cross the viewfinder was just over 6 minutes.

I'm awarding 5 stars if you watched the whole video from start to finish. 2 stars if you skipped through it.

You get 0 stars if you only watched the first few seconds. Slow down and look around you! The Universe is an extraordinary place, and requires patience and understanding. Put the beer/doobie away. Get out of the city on a clear night and look up. It'll change your life!
