Since the original site was down, a quick explanation:
This was not intended, in any way whatsoever, to be practical. I just wanted to quickly test head tracking with stereoscopic active shutter glasses to see if it could provide a more convincing effect (since 3D glasses alone will not handle parallax and perspective properly when you move/rotate your head). At the time no consumer hardware existed so I built my own "hack" for it.
