I saw these fish at Petsmart the other day. The other glofish you normally see are actually Zebra fish with genetically altered genes. They are zebra fish with jelly fish dna injected into them. Biologist needed fish to detect polluted water streams and rivers. So if your familiar with jelly fish then you know that they can emit light in pure darkness. This is how they can communicate with other jelly fish about predators in the area. So these were the result.
