From the day I hung out my shingle as a marketing expert, I specialized in Facebook advertising. I do not offer SEO and reputation marketing and Adwords and twelve other services. I offer Facebook Advertising ... one service ... beginning, middle, end.

The biggest (and most common) mistake local marketers are making right now
Yesterday, there were a lot of entrepreneurs in our webinar training, but specifically from the digital marketing space. When I asked what their business' specialized in, I got answers like this: Web Designer, Video Editor, Social Media Marketer, SEO Specialist, Youtube Specialist.
This wouldn't be a big deal -- except that all those answers came from just one guy!
Now, go back and look at that list of "specialties" again. Do you expect me -- or a potential client -- to believe that that you're the best at website design? You're the best at video design? You're the best at social media? And on and on and on?
Just like that doc tried to be everything medical -- if you try to be everything marketing, things will not go so well. Now, maybe when you drop the ball, it won't be during brain surgery, but it will likely cost you clients just the same.
Now, let's bring these examples in-house. At Billy Gene Marketing we are the masters of turning clicks into customers -- using paid Facebook and Instagram advertisements to get more customers for our clients. That's what we do. That's what we're focused on. That's what we're great at. We stay in our lane and that's it.
I am a Facebook Advertising Specialist. That's all.

She doesn't have time to focus on anything else. Facebook's algorithm is always changing, so she has to stay in contact with Facebook everyday to see what's working and what's not.
