"LOOKIE WHAT I FOUND!"
While looking for more Man-Powered Elevators to show off, I found the Staff Elevators on the North end of Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester, Massachusetts.
These are Otis Tractions, with EPIC motor sounds. Since they're NOT LABLED here, I rode them.
They are very smooth, and you can hear that motor on both of them. Unlike the passenger elevators, there is a small amount of Pre-Door on these, similar to what GeN2 lifts commonly do, but a little more.
These are quite busy, and since they're Staff Elevators, employees boarded. None really cared I was riding these. Some were interested, one watched the camera record the video.
You may have also noticed a set of elevators across the hall from these. Those serve the Patient Rooms, and for the sake of keeping those free for emergencies, I did NOT ride them. SECONDS MATTER.
