Hemetrics is currently developing accurate, portable, instant hydration measurement devices for the first-responder, medic, and visiting nurse healthcare provider to make actionable patient information instantly available for improved healthcare outcomes. Since September 2005, Hemetrics has been working diligently to research, design, and build medical devices to allow the medic US Army or the nurse visiting and elderly person to deploy a product that will help in assessing the hydration condition of an individual who may be suffering from dehydration or over hydration. The Hemetrics team believes that this device has many high value markets beyond the soldier market. From the elderly to the infant, the firefighter in the city or the forest, hazardous materials team member, or serious burn victim, people are silently suffering from dehydration and going undiagnosed due to lack of fast, accurate, and inexpensive readily available diagnostic tools.
