Mayor Kirk Caldwell delivered his second annual State of the City address on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 8 a.m. at McCoy Pavilion in Ala Moana Beach Park.

This was the first public event held at McCoy Pavilion since it underwent restoration. The location, at beautiful Ala Moana Beach Park, one of Oahu's "crown jewels," was selected by Mayor Caldwell to highlight one of his major priorities: improving our parks and public spaces.

The event was broadcast live on Hawaii News Now KFVE (broadcast channel 9.1; Oceanic Cable analog channel 5, digital channel 85, HD channel 1005; Hawaiian Telcom channel 5, HD channel 1005), on KITV sister station MeTV (broadcast channel 4.2; Oceanic digital cable channel 126; Hawaiian Telcom channel 19), and on 'Olelo FOCUS (Oceanic Cable and Hawaiian Telcom channel 49).

The speech was streamed live at honolulu.gov, hawaiinewsnow.com, kitv.com, khon2.com, and olelo.org.
