Payday: The Heist review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Payday: The Heist, a downloadable game on the PlayStation Network from Overkill Software and Sony for the PlayStation 3. Payday: The Heist is a first person shooter similar to games like Left 4 Dead. It's designed specifically for the multiplayer setting, and although it does have a few issues, they vanish like thieves in the black of night when you play it with friends. You play as your choice of four villains, and spoiler alert, they're planning a heist. In each of the game's six missions, you get to lead and coordinate the team during their illicit activities. Whether you're piecing together a bank robbery or breaking someone out of the slammer, the game feels genuinely frantic, especially in multiplayer. The game lacks polish, but when you play Payday the way it's meant to be played, it's really hard to not have fun with it. This video review features video gameplay footage of Payday: The Heist for the PlayStation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
