Rush Limbaugh declared that Barack Obama was a threat to the Republicans, and by doing so, he wanted his listeners to support his Operation Chaos movement.

"Have Your Credit Card Ready, My Friends!"

Unfortunately this tactic failed because it delivered Barack Obama the Democratic nomination and helped him win the general election.

Thanks to Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, the Republicans lost the presidential race, more congressional seats, and set the mandate to how talk radio's influence is becoming old. With the internet and many fact-checkers, Rush Limbaugh can't catch up to the fast world of knowledge.

During the Democratic Primaries, this tactic encouraged his listeners to switch party affiliations to vote for Hillary Clinton. His goal was to "bloody up" Barack Obama before he was to finish up the Democratic Primaries.

During the final primaries Rush Limbaugh's influence helped Hillary Clinton win the popular vote and proportional delegates in the states of Ohio, Texas and Indiana in the primaries.

But it helped the Democrats gain three heavily conservative districts in Mississippi, Louisiana and Illinois. In 2008, there were three special elections held. The seats of Roger Wicker, Dennis Hastert and Richard Baker were solidly Republican.

Don Cazayoux - Louisiana [Defeated in General Election]
Travis Childers - Mississippi [Won in General Election]
Bill Foster - Illinois [Won in General Election]

Now with this in mind, we have two more senate races to finish.

Senators Norm Coleman and Saxby Chambliss are incumbent Republicans. They are in the fight of their political lives.

Minnesota - Norm Coleman and rival Al Franken are facing a recount. In most reports, it's favoring Franken.

Georgia - Saxby Chambliss failed to secure over 50% of registered votes so it triggers a runoff special election. Jim Martin, a conservative Democrat is running against him and the race has tighten to at least four to six points in recent polls. It favors Chambliss. But if recent postings on YouTube and recent appearances from the failed Republican candidates John McCain, Fred Thompson and Sarah Palin. It's going to be a nail biter from both sides.

Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh are working tirelessly to make sure the Democrats won't win the 60 vote majority.

Lastly, the influences of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, Matt Drudge, Michael Savage, Glenn Beck, Dick Morris, Laura Ingraham, Michelle Malkin, Ann Coulter, Neal Boortz, Fox News, NewsMax, Townhall, Red State, and the rest of conservative media failed. Their slash-and-burn style of politics has greatly hurt the Republican Party.

I don't know if they can at least make a dent in the majorities the Democrats have.

But then again, it might be a good thing for the pundits and conservatives! They have at least four years to regain the majorities. If they can prove that Barack Obama is a failure, then they win back the majorities.

If not, then Rush Limbaugh, hang up the microphone buddy! You threw!
