Intent: The intent of this piece is to show that there is more to black and white than what we see at first glance, it is much more complex, and there is a whole scale of values between the two. Aside from the idea of black and white I wanted to show that no matter what race, tone, shade, or skin color, we all have the same facial features which make us even more equal.
Precedents: An inspiration for this project was an independent film called The Tracey fragments by Bruce McDonald, he uses the idea of many split screens at once moving and merging into different things.
