All handmade composite, all Australian designed and manufactured 4" minimum diameter amateur rocket flying on a CTI N5800 C-Star motor. Altitude (GPS verified) 16,809m MSL or 51,228' AGL. Max velocity was 2,281 MPH or Mach 3.11 (altitude corrected).

I believe this is only the third minimum diameter rocket to survive this flight, the other 2 being Mike Passaretti and Gerald Meux. There has been more than 20 attempts, that we know of, in the last few years...

This altitude is higher than the current official N-class single stage record, but I will not be claiming the record as it belongs to Mike Passaretti of New Jersey who flew a similar configuration at Balls 21 in 2012 to over 56,000 AGL. He could not care less about official records, but for me to claim it would be a hollow gesture and disrespectful. I will claim it when I beat the 56k mark...
