Vote Nikki Haley... This is the worst ass-kissing to the base ad I've ever seen... Desperate hail mary. No more of the old-guard.

Oh Bob, you're too funny! Love it!
Chad Raymond
How long before Barrett is found to be having a homosexual affair?

Whatever the case, it is shameful for Congressman Barrett to use the uniform of the United States Army for his own self-aggrandizement and worse yet to mischaracterize his service by claiming to be retired. What he is is a fraud.
Wes Cooler
Worse yet, the ad uses some unknown person in a Drill Instructor Uniform. If that person is a soldier, he is in violation of both Army regulations and the Hatch Act (a Federal Statute), if he is simply an actor, he is also in violation of any number of statutes by impersonating a soldier. If he's one of those Citadel cadre authorized to wear the uniform, he's using it for an unauthorized purpose and is also a State Employee endorsing a partisan candidate.

I just watched this Gresham Barrett ad where the caption showed him as "Captain, US Army (ret)".  Gresham Barrett served 4 years in the US Army and resigned his commission.  He is not retired and not entitled to use that title.
Members of the Armed Forces are not allowed to endorse political candidates in fact they can not show up at political rallies in uniform as it violates the Uniform Code of Military Justice. In this add you imply a drill sergeant endorses your candidacy. As an officer in the military you should know better than this. I spent 22 years in the Army and I do. Tried to post this on your website but I guess this wasn't the type of comment you were looking for.

larosalinda Just what did you see in that add that was racist.
Here's a shout out to my favorite actor / weatherman BOB CHILDS for his tremendous work as the "Drill Sargent" in this spot. BRAVO!
