This new series, Histories Remixed, encourages a lively exchange of ideas around how art and its histories are conceived, created, and presented. The groundbreaking work of the A:shiwi A:wan Museum and Heritage Center is shaking up the field of contemporary museology by inviting guests to join the Zuni community’s conversation. On October 22, 2015, Jim Enote, director of the center, discusses his role in reframing how Western institutions collect and display Zuni objects in light of recent collaborations advancing the understanding of Zuni culture.
