The Hospital Readmissions Program was created due to concerns that too few resources were being spent on reducing acute care hospital readmissions, and my bill ensures that we are not disproportionately penalizing those who see a large number of our most vulnerable patients.

My bill was passed by the House as part of the 21st Century Cures Act on Wednesday, November 30, 2016.
