On March 15, 2013 in conjunction with a rally in Tokyo at Mitsui and Company called by the Japanese railway union Doro-Chiba, labor supporters and activists in San Francisco spoke out at the Pacific Maritime Association PMA headquarters. United Grain owned by Mitsui and Company has locked out ILWU Local 4 longshore workers in the Port of Vancouver, Washington on February 27, 2013 and has scabs doing the work of the union longshore workers. United Grain is part of the PMA. The rally was called by the Transport Workers Solidarity Committee TWSC. www.transportworkers.org and a demonstration was also held the same day at Mitsui's world headquarters in Tokyo Japan.
