Video explains what combined heat and power (CHP) systems are and their importance to the operation of anaerobic digestion plants.

CHP units can be added to landfil gas extraction gas engines as well, so that the heat produced by the gas engine is not wasted.

Uses can be to heat factories, barns, and houses using the hot water which would otherwise be wasted, by the ise of cooling fans mounted on the roof of CHP units.
