Watch this live version of "Black Dog" performed by Led Zeppelin, the greatest rock band of all time! The song's title is a reference to a nameless black labrador retriever that wandered around the Headley Grange studios during recording.

So I was thinking what would be the line up for greatest band ever. I came up with this: Vocals - Robert Plant Guitar - Jimmy Page Bass - John Paul Jones Drums - John Bonham Good thing they grouped up and actually made this dream a reality. Hahahaha

I swear Jimmy Page is the only guitarist who can play sloppy as shit when live, hit loads of bum notes, and STILL sound incredible!! Madness

Jake Dowen he's playing by feeling not the score. There's no such thing as a bum note if you play what you're feeling.

Bonham was a monster. A force of nature. So cool. And John Paul Jones an often unheralded, under-appreciated member of the group.

YES! YES! Jonesy was the glue who held it all together. As for Bonzo, his wide-open, ham-fisted style breated a deep groove for the rest of the band to fall into and simply lock in with as a unit.
