During a press conference on Wednesday to update the impact of the coronavirus in the U.S., President Trump talked about the flu killing thousands of people a year when compared to the 15 U.S. citizens that have contracted the coronavirus so far.

Trump went into detail on how the U.S. has been able to keep the number of U.S. citizens with coronavirus to 15. He said stopping non-U.S. citizens coming into U.S. from China, screening people from those countries known to have the coronavirus and quarantining those infected were instrumental in keeping those infected to a "low level."

He also announced that he's putting vice president Mike Pence in charge of the response to a possible coronavirus outbreak in the U.S.
