Mrs. Grynglas was born in Warsaw, Poland. As a young Jewish woman she experienced anti-Semitism before World War II and then terrible persecution during the war. She lived at Twarda 36 street in Warsaw. Her parents; Daniel and Celina Rubin died during the Holocaust. Daniel was murdered in Treblinka and Celina was killed in Warsaw. In this interview Kristina tells her story. This video is first part of a three part set and covers Krystyna experiences before she was trapped in the Warsaw ghetto.
NOTE: Good school friend of Krystyna, Mrs. Irene Bessette published a book "Not All Was Lost: A Young Woman's Memoir 1939- 1946". Irene also survived the Warsaw ghetto and survived to tell the story. Book is available on Amazon.
