Justin performed one song, On the Road, from the 'Gaia' album.
It's another video experiment on Day 6 of learning the Windows XP moviemaker. Since I live in the American West, and Gaia is about the Earth, I decided to do a slide show featuring different kinds of desert rock formations. Photos are from Mono Lake Nevada (showing eerie tufa formations), Bryce Canyon, assorted chute/slot canyons and various other rocky locations. I wanted to echo the strangeness of the song's mood with the strange landscape imagery.
For this experiment, I wanted to use an overwhelming number of startling, interesting images (after making do with too few in previous efforts) and organizing them to be viewed as quickly as possible while trying to minimize confusion. To accomplish this, the slides are organized in four distinct sections separated by a unique fade transition. All other transitions were deliberately simple dissolves.
So here's the question--was it enjoyable to watch or just too much too fast?
