Doors drive system depends on Rack and Pinion Mechanism on Car door. Such mechanism used to transform rotational motion from the door motor (DC Wiper Motor) to linear motion for doors translation. As the doors type in this project is central opening doors, a mechanism needed to make an opposite two motions applied on each panel of the door. One pinion and two racks used to transform the rotational motion from the door motor into two opposite panels sliding. The two racks and the pinion were made of Teflon. The pinion was fixed directly with the shaft of the door motor, which fixed on the car roof. Each rack fixed on each panel of the car door and its length designed depending on the distance that the panel should move.
