How often have we heard people say, "Kya Maa ne kuchh nahi sikhaya?"
When we raise our children with expectations based on their genders, we teach them that gender roles are the norm, and lay foundations of a gender-biased society. A biased society objectifies genders and promotes gender-based violence, especially against women. Is this how we want to raise our kids?
