TOA (Tāne Ora Alliance) Launch

Te Tihi o Ruahine Whānau Ora Alliance in conjunction with Mental Health Foundation and Movember are excited to announce the launch of the first TOA progamme.

TOA (Tāne Ora Alliance) is the name given to the Māori Men’s Mental Health programme developed by a group of local community champions. It is a 14 week programme designed to assist Tāne Māori to understand the catalysts to good Māori health such as identity.

We are very excited to have our patron Professor Sir Mason Durie and ambassador Nehe Milner-Skudder on board. We will also be joined by Heather Skipworth (founder of Iron Māori) and Trevor Shailor (CEO Sport Manawatū).
