This video was created for applying to attend the World Economic Forum's Annual Meeting which will take place from 22 to 25 January 2014 in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland.

Oleksandr Elkin (Kharkiv, Ukraine) is Director at School Champion Office in Ukraine. He is a PhD in Technical Sciences, specialist in computer science and non-profit institutions marketing, has longstanding experience in management and education. Author of more than 40 academic papers, popular science articles and patents. Currently, Oleksandr facilitates a number of social projects, aimed at implementation of technologies in the educational system of Ukraine and other countries. Among them - school management system «School Champion», http://www.schoolchampion.in.ua (formerly known as all-Ukrainian educational platform «EDUkIT», http://www.edukit.org.ua), Khan Academy in Ukrainian and Russian languages (http://ru.khanacademy.org, http://uk.khanacademy.org, http://www.ka.sch.in.ua), guide to the world of Kharkiv education (http://www.catalog.sch.in.ua), visual teacher assistant (http://www.vta.sch.in.ua) and others. Oleksandr is the founding curator for the Kharkiv hub of Global Shapers Community (http://www.globalshapers.org/hubs/kha...), the international initiative of the World Economic Forum. Was one of the Ukrainian delegates to the Forum-2014 in Davos. Actively takes part in the Jewish community life, is the member of the Board of Trustees at the Jewish Community Center "Beith Dan" in Kharkiv and the initiator of the internet project "Jews on the map of Ukraine: discover, travel, together" (http://www.jews.in.ua).
