LuckyDog Recreation played a big part in the Utah Recreation and Parks Association (URPA) Trade Show. http://luckyDogRecreation.com

CJ Stoddard, LuckyDog Playground Construction Specialist, presented valuable information on Playground Drainage to Utah park and playground professionals.

CJ showed a huge variety of drainage problems they run into when they construct a playground in an area that has been poorly designed or even designed with the playground as solution for draining other areas.

He stressed the importance of planning ahead in order to create a playground that is stable, lasts a long time and is safe for children. There some simple solutions for good playground drainage, especially when playground areas are well planned.

CJ always works with the 5 P's of Playground Construction in mind; Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance. It is just good business, cost effective, creates a better product and a safe place for children to play.

Nicole Stoddard and Jordan Stoddard put together the booth featuring Playcraft Playground Systems and Dynamo Playgrounds. Playcraft Playground Systems are the top of the line when it comes to playground design. Dynamo Playgrounds are unique rope based playgrounds that ignite playground magic.

Although the booth featured the Utah Commercial Playground Equipment companies that LuckyDog represents. Playground professionals showed a lot of interest in LuckyDog's playground surfacing options. LuckyDog's top of the line Sof’Tiles© DuraSAFE™ Plus Series, manufactured exclusively with recycled materials, drew the most interest. It is not only beautiful but the most durable surfacing on the market.

Congratulations to Shauna Jo Eves, Program Coordinator for Uintah County Recreation District, for winning the playground inspection kit donated by LuckyDog for the big drawing at the end of the show. The UCRD provides year-round recreational activities including management over 11 regional and city parks and has a community center in Vernal that serves a region over 35,000 people.
