James Turner, charged with cultivation, possession, purpose, filed a POLCOA motion to prohibit his charge as unknown to law. Dismissed, he appealed. The Crown and Registry put him on the Inmate Appeals list. He complained that he wasn't an inmate. No matter, his appeal was slated for Kingston Inmate Appeals Court. He didn't go. The Court dismissed his appeal "the Applicant not appearing." He appealed to the Supreme Court as the only non-inmate processed as an inmate and the Supreme Court let them get away with it.
