To me it was the other way around: First I saw "Man on wire", thought it was amazing and interesting. Then I found out there was this movie. Of course, I had no intention of watching it, Man on Wire was good enough. But then I found the dvd at a garage sale, so I bought it and watched it.

I just finished watching The Walk, like ten minutes ago. Such an amazing movie about an amazing thing, and so bittersweet...it was so funny, but that sad feeling I got from the ending...

You know, I saw the trailer for "The Walk" and the moment where they show Petit balancing on one foot on a girder over the edge of the towers and thought "Oh, that's artistic license - Petit may be beautifully, inspirationally crazy, but not THAT crazy." Then I see 0:59 - HE IS THAT CRAZY!
