Today, I went up against a high-ranked Japanese player in my very first battle with this new team and showed him why west side is the best side. Red, white, and blue rides hard.

Battle begins at 1:06

The battle is straight forward. For a few clarifications, I thought Garchomp would rotate when I used Flamethrower against it. I do have Dragon Pulse on my Arcanine. There was also no way Blissey would live my onslaught. I was planning on rotating in Shedinja the turn after the battle ended and using X-Scissor. Then, I would have likely rotated back into Arcanine for another Flamethrower, hopefully so its health would be too low to make another Sub. I would then use Leech Seed and proceed to stall out while still doing considerable damage with my attacks. Safeguard would be reused as appropriate.

Time for a new squad. Try to contain your excitement. As I said in the video (you know these are narrated right?), the team is a mono-color one, with the color in common being brown. As such, all the Pokemon are nicknamed with shades of brown that typify them appropriately: Ecru for Shedinja, Khaki for Shroomish, Tawny for Arcanine, Ochre for Stunfisk, Bronze for Hitmonchan, and Beaver for Bibarel. Yes, Beaver is an actual color. I don't make the rules; Crayola does.

The trainer of the team is Bruno Tanner Brown, an African-American man living in Brownwood, Brown County, Texas (I shit you not). He works as a UPS deliveryman by day and a die-hard Cleveland fan by night, rooting on his favorite football team avidly. Despite his humble lodgings and occupation, he graduated from Providence at the top of his class. However, complications involving an addiction to cocaine mixed with gunpowder (which he would sometimes bake into desserts, creating brown-brown brownies) resulted in his currently mediocre status. He doesn't care, however: he has since dropped his addiction cold turkey and replaced it with a loving family. Now isn't that sweet. His favorite Pokémon is Shroomish because, c'mon, Shroomish is one jive motherfucker. Just look at that expression. "No shits were given that day" is his perpetual mantra.

Music is a "There Was a Time" instrumental by James Brown. Get it? BROWN. GET IT? I know: I'm really milking this brown theme pretty heavily.
