SCASA, a South Carolina school administrator union, hustles hard for public money and low expectations. Thanks to dues and personnel benefits paid by tax dollars, SCASA can focus on siphoning money away from the classroom to further bloat South Carolina's ineffective and wasteful government school system. Despite all the unnecessary bureaucratic spending, South Carolina still ranks near the bottom nationally for graduation rates, aptitude scores, and college readiness measurements.
