My EP 'Over & Out' is now available worldwide on iTunes! http://bit.ly/OJlm3l

This is a song my choir sang waaay back in the day, and it's simply beautiful. There's no original artist as it's a folk song, but I was inspired by Cara Dillon's version :)
Listen to her version here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKwzw_...

Thanks to Tom Clarke for the beautiful performance.
Here is his vlog channel which is turning into more of a main channel: http://youtube.com/LaLaLaTomathys

"Black is the colour of my true loves hair,
Her lips are like a rose so fair,
She's got the sweetest face and the gentlest hands,
I love the ground where on she stands.

I love my love, and well she knows,
I love the ground where on she goes,
And how I wish the day would come,
When she and I can be as one.

I go to the Clyde, and mourn and weep,
Satisfied, I'll never sleep,
I'll write her a letter, just a few short lines,
And suffer death ten thousand times."
