President Barack Obama hosted a private screening this afternoon of the movie Lincoln, director Steven Spielberg's big-screen look at the 16th president (played by Oscar-winning actor Daniel Day-Lewis) and his work to abolish slavery during the Civil War.

Following the event, ABC News political reporter Michael Falcone tweeted that Lincoln producer Kathleen Kennedy said Obama was "incredibly moved" by the movie.

Spielberg was an Obama supporter during the president's successful re-election campaign, and the 44th president himself is a fan of the Great Emancipator.
