DAYTON-- Dayton Police released dash cam video late Wednesday afternoon following a serious crash. The driver of a Jeep is still in the hospital after crashing his car, while being followed by an undercover officer.    The  crash  happened  a little before 9 Wednesday morning on Gettysburg Avenue  at Hoover. Police  said  the 22- year-old  driver of a  Jeep Compass  was being followed by an undercover officer.  The driver of the Jeep was speeding,  ran a red light,  and then was hit by another car. Dayton Police Chief Richard Biehl said the man was being followed because " he is  a person of interest in an on-going investigation." "It sounded like an explosion out here."  Witness Anthony Davis said.  "Debris and  everything  was flying down the street."     Police said money and several cell phones were found  in  his car.   Police said  he was driving with out a license . Officers are not releasing his name because he has not yet  been charged.
